Born in Cheshire, England, her academic journey began with an MSc in International Public Policy from University College London (UCL), where she delved into the intricacies of public policy, economics, international relations, development, and global security. Driven by an insatiable curiosity about the inner workings of democracy, she embarked on a PhD at The University of Sheffield, meticulously examining "The Democratisation of Parliamentary Practice in Post-apartheid South Africa."
Visionary Democracy Expert & Political Leadership Consultant, Dr Victoria Ann Hasson’s professional trajectory is marked by a remarkable blend of academic rigour and practical experience. As a Doctoral Researcher at The University of Sheffield, Department of Politics, she traversed between London and South Africa, immersing herself in the dynamic political landscapes of both regions. This rich exposure paved the way for her subsequent roles as Parliamentary Operations Director for the Democratic Alliance, Senior Parliamentary Advisor for the Westminster Foundation for Democracy (WFD), and Future Governance - Transformational Leadership Consultant at the United Nations Development Program (UNDP).
